Health status analysis of dairy cows, based on different periods of the year

Livestock production is an integral part of many farmers. In order to get a lot of quality and livestock production, it is essential to choose the right breed of animal, route of administration, create the optimum diet to produce high-quality feed. Animal technology is rapidly moving forward, discovering new measures to improve animal nutrition, health guarantee, at the same time produce more high-quality products. Over time, it is evident that prevention and preventive measures works out cheaper than the already sick, treatment of animals. Metabolic disease - the largest part of the farm animals consuming disease. It is because of these metabolic diseases occurring, highly productive livestock farmers suffer significant losses. The main reasons leading to metabolic disorders in the body of animals is eating disorders. Often happens that the animals are mistakenly fed on poor quality feed processing. Wrong diet can also cause problems on the farm. Metabolic disease are difficult to avoid because of the changing needs of cows, which are very different in different lactation and the dry period. It is impossible to avoid metabolic diseases completely, but all the mesures shuld be taken in order to reduce their manifestation frequency. The objective of this research was to assess health status of dairy cows, throughout the following tasks: 1. Access and analyze the veterinary medical literature on the health of cows at different times of the year, the conditions necessary to ensure wellness; 2. Analyze cow housing and feeding conditions and health status of indoor and outdoor period; 3. Clinical examination of cattle; 4. Take blood and urine samples for analysis; 5. Familiarize with blood and urine tests; 6. To analyze the blood test results, compared with the physiology of literature data. Therefore were taken blood and urine samples twice a year (winter and summer periods). For this purpose 10 cows were selected and insFollowing the testing and analysis, obtained findings therefore were assessed taking into consideration cattle feeding and living conditions, and presented in 8 tables. Respective conclusions were drawn: 1. Animal housing conditions are sufficient to ensure the cow's health; 2. After the cows clinical examination - no health problems revealed; 3. Examination of samples - the majority of cows has decreased alkali reserve and total protein content during the grazing period; 4. Blood and urine biochemical test results of the physiological norm
