Leadership competences of executives in Lithuanian Public Health institutions

Aim of the study. Evaluate leadership competences of executives in Lithuanian public health institutions. Objectives. 1. Rate opinion about necessary successful leadership competencies of executives in Lithuanian public health institutions. 2. Analyze viewpoint on current leadership competences of executives in Lithuanian public health institutions. 3. Reveal intentions to improve leadership competences of executives in Lithuanian public health institutions. Methods. This research was based on cross-sectional study. The object of this research – Lithuanian public health executives. The study was carried out from 2015 February to April. In total, 90 questionnaires have been distributed, and 62 have been completed and returned. Response rate – 68,9%. The questionnaires collected data were processed statistically processing package IBM SPSS V20 and MS Office Excel spreadsheet. For statistical analysis we used Student's (t) criteria. Results.
