The interfaces between strategic management elements in primary health care institutions and performance indicators

Aim of the study. Assess the interfaces between strategic management elements in primary health care institutions and performance indicators. Objectives. 1. Determine public and private primary health care workers positions about the interfaces between strategic management elements and performance indicators. 2. Compare public and private primary health care institutions interfaces between strategic management elements and performance indicators. 3. Determine the public and private primary health care institutions executives view of interfaces between strategic management elements and performance indicators, as well as the results of workers approach. Methods. Questionnaire method was applied to assess employee position about the interfaces between strategic management elements and performance indicators. Questionnaire survey consisted of 119 respondents. To determine the executives view interview method was applied, which was attended by heads of the two institutions. Results. Workers consider that the greatest impact on patient registration has a public presentation of an institution (82.4 percent) and employee knowledge on the institutions strong sides (79.8 percent). Knowledge of institutions tasks is an important element of patients registration in public health care facilities (65.3 percent) in private facilities (47.6 percent) (p≤0.05). Executives consider institution's purpose, mission, vision and positive sides of presentation to have the greatest impact on growth in the number of patients. Conclusions. 1. The most knowledge employees have on the strategy, vision and mission of an institution, and the greatest impact on patient registration have the public presentation of institutions opportunities, strengths and employee knowledge about the institutions strong sides. 2. The main thing of the public primary health care facility is to provide information of opportunities. To provide information of a threat is the main to private. 3.
