Aim: To research and evaluate demand and assortment of preparations with plant origin for common cold diseases. Findings: The survey revealed that more of patients become sick with common cold diseases once per year (53%). 33% of patients are choosing herbal preparations and using them for the treating of these diseases. More as half of the surveyed specified that the main influence for their choice has recommendation provided by health care specialist - doctor or pharmacist (38%). Most of the respondents (54%) find preferable herbal preparation in the pharmacy and in case if they didn’t find they buy other similar preparation recommended by pharmacist.
