Communication features of the nurses to patients and medical staff in health care institution

Aim of the study. To analyze approach to communication features and their influencing factors with patients and medical staff of the nurses who working in the health care institution. Objectives. To analyze approach to communication with patients of nurses, to investigate an approach to communication with medical staff of nurses, to determine the factors which are important to communicate with medical staff and patients for nurses. Methods. The anonymous research of the nurses has been performed in the Conservative medical profile and the Consulting Clinic departments of the Lithuanian Health Sciences University Hospital Kaunas Clinic. 246 questionnaires were issued to the nurses, returned – 222 respondents (response rate 90,0 %).
