Prostate cancer is one of the most significant health problems of the elderly male population, with a progressive increase in its incidence. It is one of the first studies performed in Lithuania during which the quality of life, illness perception and links between them and between different stages, treatment methods and illness duration groups were evaluated. Considering our results it would be easier to evaluate which treatment modality could be selected in different stage and illness duration group also including the patients’ psychological aspect such as illness perception. The aim of the study is to assess the quality of life and illness perceptions among prostate cancer patients
