Evaluation of dynamics of public health specialists' needs in postgraduate occupational activities in 2009-2011

Aim of the study. Evaluate the dynamics of public health specialists' needs in postgraduate occupational activities in 2009-2011 Methods. Anonymous questionnaire survey was carried out among the employees of Kaunas public health center, Siauliai public health center and Marijampole public health center and their branches, as well as among office workers of Kaunas and Siauliai public health bureaus. There were 120 questionnaires delivered, 102 questionnaires were filled in correctly and returned by respondents (response rate: 85 %). The data was processed and analyzed using statistical package “SPSS for Windows 17.0”. The statistic importance of the data was investigated using the criterion of Chi-square, the number of the degree of freedom (df) and statistical significance (p).
