General practitioner’s approach to visits of representatives of pharmaceutical companies in Vilnius city

Aim of study. To evaluate the approach of general practitioners to visits of pharmaceutical company representatives in Vilnius city. Methods. In the period from August to December 2012 general practitioners, working in primary family health care centres in Vilnius city were anonymously questioned. There were 200 questionnaires distributed, 132 of which were answered and returned (the response rate was 66% ). Statistical analysis of the obtained data was performed using the SPSS 14.0. software package.
