The effects of active ingredients of the plant Macleaya cordata, mananooligosaccharides and Pediococcus acidilactici MA 18/5 additives on broiler chickens’ productivity, digestive processes and production quality

The objective of the study is: to analyse the effect of phytobiotic preparation Sangrovit® and its compounds with prebiotic mananooligosaccharides (Agrimos) and probiotic Pediococcus acidilactici MA 18/5 (Bactocell) on productivity, digestive processes as well as meat quality of broiler chickens. The tasks of the study: 1. To analyse the effect of 15 mg Sangrovit® additive/kg feed and 30 mg Sangrovit® additive/kg feed on the productivity, digestive processes, physiological condition and meat quality of broiler chickens. 2. To analyse the effect of Sangrovit® additive and its compound with mananooligosaccharides on the productivity, digestive processes as well as physiological condition of broiler chickens. 3. To analyse the effect of Sangrovit® additive and its compound with the probiotic Bactocell on the productivity, digestive processes, physiological condition as well as meat quality of boiler chickens. The effect of Macleaya cordata (Sangrovit® additive) and its compounds (mananooligsaccharides and lactic acid bacteria Pediococcus acidilactici MA 18/5) on the digestive processes of birds (glucolytic enzymes’ such as alpha-glucosidase, beta-glucosidase, beta-glucuronidase activation in ileum, short-chain fatty acids – vinegar, propion, isobutyric, butyric, isovaleric and valeric) and poultry quality (concentration of fatty acids, sensory and textural properties) had been analysed in this study. The synergetic effect of the plant Macleaya cordata (Sangrovit®) and its compounds with mananooligosaccharides and lactic acid bacteria Pediococcus acidilactici MA 18/5 on the productivity and mortality of broiler chickens was identified by indicating the specific norms of preparations in combipound feeds as well as their periods of usage while growing chickens
