The investigation of the use of animals in rural tourism business

The aim - to explore rural tourism activities in the Lithuanian countryside, to analyze its prospects. In the study was to examine the articles, laws and regulations. Use in websites and periodicals. The accumulated material was examined using a questionnaire and direct interview, logical analysis, literature analysis, the descriptive and statistical methods. Lithuania Rural Tourism is one of the most promising alternative activities, creating jobs in rural areas and providing additional income. Alternative agricultural practices and laws contribute to the basic goal - to improve the economy of employment, raise living standards and quality, while also reducing reliance on inefficient agricultural practices. Rural tourism has great potential for development as an increasing need for recreation in rural tourism farms and increasing rural population, intending to take the non-agricultural businesses. It is noted that alternative agricultural activities, receives the highest support for EU rural tourism. Today, rural tourism - particularly important part of the Lithuanian tourism industry, it is not surprising that it receive EU funding.
