The aim of the study – to find out how socio-demographic characteristics (sex, age, education and residence) effect consumer attitude to food products and food safety. Conclusions of the study: 1. Significant consumer attitudes towards food products and their safety have not been established. Food properties, which always draws consumers attention was freshness (women 81.1%, men 59.3%) and shelf-life (77.4% women, men 58.7%) (P 0.05).
