Aim of the study. To discover possibilities of quality of facilities provided by emergency medical service in Kaunas city emergency medical service station, improvement. Methods. Object of the research – quality of facilities provided by ambulance station in Kaunas city. Anonymous questionnaire survey was performed to carry quantitative analysis (250 respondents, response rate 80.4 percent). Expert interviews were performed to carry qualitative analysis (3 experts, holding senior positions in Kaunas city ambulance station). Methods of the statistical analysis – statistical significance of the data was measured by the criteria χ², number of the freedom degree (df) and the statistical significance.
