This thesis studies Finnish occupational health care market through the lens of disruptive innovation theory. The objective of the research was to identify ways in which an incumbent occupational health care provider, with a fee-for-service business model, could face disruption. Using an embedded single case study methodology, a large national provider was selected as the focal case. Embedded elements included supply-side analyses of potential health care innovations and demand-side analyses on employer-customer and accident insurer interviews.
