This thesis discusses sound design in performance from a practitioners point of view. The thesis is in two parts, of which the first presents a context in the form of a essay discussing different aspects of (mediated) sound in performance. The analysis of the cue-list relies on tools presented by Augoyard and Torgue in Sonic Experience
