Uniform Arbitration Act, The

In 1955, the Uniform Arbitration Act (UAA) was proposed by the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws.\u27 Since that time, well over half of the states have adopted statutes modeled after the UAA. 2 The purpose of this survey is to explain the principles underlying recent court decisions interpreting the UAA, and provide a framework for analyzing future cases.
