In the process of construction of the Single Health System (SUS), it is stronger and more evident the importance of National Primary Care (NPC). There are some high-priority actions, among others, the prenatal and puerperal assistance.The present study aimed to evaluate women’s health care in the pregnant and puerperal cycle in the Northeast of Brazil through the data of the NPCAQIP.It is an evaluation study, with quantitative approach. The data used was obtained through the external evaluation bank of the NPCAQIP.
