ABSTRACT Maitimo, Georgius Alexander Stani, 2016. “Agresivitas Tokoh Mari Kurihara Dalam Anime Kangoku Gakuen (監獄学園) Dengan Pendekatan Psikologi Sastra”. A thesis in partial fulfillment of the requirement for S-I Degree Japanese Department, Faculty of Humanities, Diponegoro University, Semarang. First Advisor Drs. Redyanto Noor, M.Hum. Second Advisor Zaki Ainul Fadli, S.S., M.Hum. This research aims to finding and explaining about aggressiveness of Mari Kurihara in this anime. Two objects that used in this research are material object and formal object. The material object is anime Kangoku Gakuen episodes one till twelve that release at Juli 11st 2015 until September 26th 2016. The formal object is aggressiveness of Mari Kurihara. The theories which used in this research is structural theory and aggressiveness theory. Structural theory used for get data of the element that build the story. Aggressiveness theory for analysis of Mari Kurihara’s pshycology. The result of research showing that Mari Kurihara has aggression within herself. The aggression devided by the type of aggression, which is instrumental aggression. The trigger of aggression which is power and frustation. The impact of aggression which is injury and depression.
