Implementasi Konvensi Penerbangan Sipil Internasional dalam Pengaturan Aspek Keselamatan dan Keamanan Penerbangan di Indonesia

The technological developments in the field of the air transportation in the current of the era globalization is very fast. This is due to the very high increase of the activity in the domestic and International mobility. In the implementation of the national and International civil aviation should refer to the norms of the national and International laws. Therefore, the writer has raised the title of “Implementation of the International Civil Aviation Convention in the Aspects of Safety and Security Flights Regulations in Indonesia”.The issue contained in the writing of the law is about how the implementation of the International civil aviation convention (Chicago Convention 1944), especially in terms of the aspect of the flight safety and security regulation, and how the responsibilities of the state in dealing with the Indonesian airlines.The methods used in this study, namely the writing of the legal normative juridical approach, the specification is the descriptive analytical study, the methods of the data collection in the form of the library research. Its data analysis method is by using the qualitative methods.Based on the research conclusions that can be drawn is in terms of setting the safety and security aspects of the Indonesian airlines are on the Indonesia Republic Act no. 1 of 2009 about the flight and the implementation of the Safety Management System (SMS).
