I am a Korean American in a dynamic country that continues to struggle with race issues. There has been an increase in hate crimes and I want to say the people labeled as \u27unwanted\u27 are Americans, too. Also, I am a woman. Yes, women have rights in the States but how much of our rights are being protected? Are our voices being heard? Men are deciding on issues that are core to women; yet, they are not listening to us. My heart breaks whenever I hear the outcomes of rape cases. No matter how much a woman covers up, violence against women will continue. I have access to a variety of resources and the amount of information I am exposed to is overwhelming at times. As the result, I draw cute animals and emojis to escape the bleak reality. ...
