The different soil tillage systems and cover crop management in areas of flooded irrigated rice show distinct peculiarities and potential of soil methane and nitrous oxide emissions. Considering an area of irrigated rice, this work aimed to evaluate the influence of soil tillage systems in the emission of greenhouse gases such as methane and nitrous oxide in order to establish systems with potential to mitigate these gases emissions.
