La nomination identitaire: De l'inapproprié aux réappropriations

National audienceFirst, we will stand identity nomination as a specific act of naming that reinforce the expressive dimension of point of view both within the act of nomination and within the enunciator ethos. Our study is applied on recent corpora from online digital productions. Then we focus on social networks in particular, like Twitter, and also on the discursive productions they promote. We observe the status online or the comments (tweets) and the names of the virtual groups that regroup under the same common aspect (here an appearance or an affiliation). We carefully distinguish the interrelated productions of self nomination, other nomination, then we propose to analyze the wording of the identity called “métisse” (mixed), for some others “hybrids” (hybrides) with actualizations like Métis(se), Mulâtre(sse), Chinoir(e), etc. Our approach aims finally to question from one part the legitimacy of certain uses in constitutive denominations between other meta discursive phenomenon, glosses, and from the other part the debates focused on the target terms.Nous poserons d’abord la nomination identitaire comme un acte de nomination spécifique avec un renforcement de la dimension expressive du point de vue dans l’acte de nomination et dans l’ethos de l’énonciateur. Notre étude s’applique à des corpus récents accessibles via les réseaux sociaux (Twitter, Facebook) et aux discours qu’ils exhibent. Nous observons les publications de messages d’humeur ou commentaires (tweets) et les noms de groupes virtuels qui rassemblent à partir d’un dénominateur commun (ici une apparence ou une appartenance voire une affiliation). En prenant soin de distinguer les productions interreliées d’auto-nomination, d’hétéro-nomination, nous analysons la mise en mot de l’identité dite « métisse », pour certains « hybrides », avec des actualisations comme Métis(se), Mulâtre(sse), Chinoir(e), etc. Notre approche vise à questionner, d’une part, la légitimité de l’usage de certaines dénominations constitutives, entre autres, de phénomènes métadiscursifs de gloses et, d’autre part, les débats sur les emplois de termes ciblés
