Se registra por primera vez a Mirinaba fusoides (Bequaert, 1948) y al género Mirinaba Morretes, 1952 en la República Argentina. Esta especie habita en la Selva Lluviosa Subtropical del norte de la provincia de Misiones. El hallazgo de este conspicuo gastrópodo por primera vez en áreas de destrucción progresiva demanda un estudio extensivo de campo de los moluscos de la provincia de Misiones para establecer e implementar la protección de su alta biodiversidad.Mirinaba fusoides (Bequaert, 1948) and the genus Mirinaba Morretes, 1952 are recorded for the first time from Argentina.
