Implementing an Information System ofFire Safety Equipment Inspection- A Case Study of TaichungLongjing District Fire Bureau

[[abstract]]In order to make it easy for firefighters and the public to inquire about the information on the fire safety equipment inspection in public buildings, a fire safety equipment information system has been set up in this study. On the one hand, the fire safety equipment inspectors provide the buildings of the public within the jurisdiction area with fire safety equipment inspection information. On the other hand, it provides the public with inquiries to confirm whether the premises for public use of its fire safety equipment is qualified to reduce fires and to ensure people's lives and property In this study, the construction of the system is based on more than 300 cases of fire safety equipment inspection in Longjing District, Longjing District, Taichung City. The conclusions are as follows: (1) In the fire safety equipment information system according to the building category, the factories within the jurisdiction are most commonly built with metals. Because of metal housing, it causes rescue workers to have most casualties. (2) In the fire safety equipment information system, the average number of inspections of evacuation equipment in accordance with fire safety equipment is the most. (3) Based on the factory category, D class is most. (4) Based on the month, April has the highest average inspection hours (5) Base on inspection items, fire extinguishers have the largest number.. In the end, this paper gives suggestions to the fire units and the public and the future research
