[[abstract]]The purpose of this study is to explore the cognition, health belief and preventive behavior in junior high school students with different background. Based on stratified sampling, 287 JungShing junior high school students from 7th to 9th grade were selected and tested by questionnaire which was evaluated by reliability and validity. The data were analyzed by statistical methods such as t-test, one-way ANOVA and Pearson correlation. The results shown that the basic knowledge and cognition of Influenza in students are correct, and the health beliefs in students are good.
