Air pollution from road transport in urban centers is amongst the main issues in urban areas. Remediation scenarios are based on pollutant emission inventory calculations, which needed the knowledge of air pollutant sources, emissions factors and activity indicators. Road traffic emission factors depend on the pollutant considered, vehicle type (light, heavy, two-wheeled), motorization type (diesel, petrol, hybrid, electric), vehicle model, operating conditions, age and Euro standards corresponding.
