A numerical procedure is derived for the analysis of electronagnetic field penetration through apertures of arbitrary shape in perfectly conducting infinite planar screens of negligible thickness. The technique proposed allows one to analyze general configurations in which the aperture is located in the neighborhood of wire structures. These may be positioned either on one side of the screen or on both sides, and in the presence of conducting wires penetrating the aperture. (C) 1996 John Wiley & Sons, Inc
