In WhaleSafe project the data collected from 2 couples of buoys with 4 hydrophones will be analysed to estimate TDOA in the signal emitted from sperm whales detected by the system. Results transmitted to a ground station will be used to extrapolate the point where the whales should emerge. A high sensitivity and specificity detector is required. It is also necessary to process data in RT, locate any moving source, and possibly generate its trajectory. This work will discuss a design of the detector and introduce a system for track generation
