International audienceTransport processes in fractured media and associated reactions are governed by multiscale heterogeneity ranging from fracture wall roughness at small scale to broadly distributed fracture lengths at network scale. This strong disorder induces a variety of emerging phenomena, including flow channeling, anomalous transport and heat transfer, enhanced mixing and reactive hotspot development. These processes are generally difficult to isolate and monitor in the field because of the high degree of complexity and coupling between them.
