Acute exacerbations of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease provide a unique opportunity to take care of patients

Exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (ECOPD) identifies the acute phase of COPD. The COPD patient is often frail and elderly with concomitant chronic diseases.
