Risk analysis for rainfall-induced slope instabilities in coarse-grained soils: Practice and perspectives in Italy

Rainfall-induced slope instabilities in coarse-grained soils represent a major threat for elements at risk in piedmont areas. To succeed in the challenge of a safer society, suitable tools aiming at forecasting the consequences related to their occurrence are required.
