Steel reinforced polymer (SRP) and steel reinforced grout (SRG) systems have recently been introduced in civil engineering for the external strengthening of RC members. Despite the unquestionable advantages deriving from the use of these systems, in terms of both performance and costs, the scientific papers available in literature are still limited, and there are several aspects related to their behaviour that need a better examination.
