Article's subject matter is the the very limited relevance financial contracts have under Directive 93/13 on Unfair Contract Terms. Even the financial contract more used by consumers, such as mortgage loans or bond purchase were accurately eliminated from the scope of the Directive through the provisions of article 2 of the Annex to the Directive. Notwithstanding that, the Directive main provisions could apply to financial contracts, when their balance in rights and obligations is particularly unfair to the consumer
