In this work, turning of Austenitic Stainless steel of grade AISI 202 using an uncoated carbide insert tool was done at specific input values of speed, feed and depth of cut. At first, we determine how the outputs like cutting force, surface roughness and the tool wear are related to the input parameters. At first the layout of the experiment was made using full factorial composite design. Then the experiment was conducted. First the cutting power is measured using the power meter and from the calculated power and cutting speed, the cutting force is determined.
