Nanofluids, which are basically the colloidal fluid suspensions of nanoparticles in a base fluid, have shown varied interesting properties, and the distinctive features they possess unprecedented and highly diversified potential for many applications. The present study deals with the synthesis of copper nanofluid, the copper nanoparticles being achieved by the process of mechanical milling. For evaluating the various properties and comparing the stability of the nanofluid two different base fluids are used, i.e. water and ethylene glycol.
