Within the framework of a research in social geography, this thesis is interested in the urban agricultures, particularly in those practiced or lived by the city-dwellers: the professional farming that makes the periurban landscapes, the farms involved in short food supply chains, hobby farming, family and community gardens, public places used as farming places.
