When a coherent light source illuminates a random medium, having either surface roughness or refractive index variations, the scattered waves propagate following different optical paths. The coherent created wavelets interfere with each other in a certain observation plane, creating the speckle field. In this work, we simultaneously the analysis of the speckle field as well as the analysis of polarized light, in a multi-parameter approach combining spatial and temporal information. The capability of the polarized speckle field to characterize complex scattering media is investigated.
