National audienceThis paper covers a large chunk of the literature on the relationships between inequalities with regards to economic development and, entrepreneurship. To justify the need for a theory of entrepreneurship when researching growth, a brief introduction shows how contemporary growth theories combine the growth accounting framework with an institutionalist perspective.
