National audienceStochastic Geometry deals with models and stochastic properties of random geometric sets, mainly in Euclidean spaces. The aim of this article is to present a synthesis of the basic concepts and notions of Stochastic Geometry in -dimensional Euclidean spaces. First, it contains a few reminders of Set Theory, Topology and Measure Theory. Then, the random closed sets and their properties are introduced. Next, their main functionals, covariance functions, and main spatial statistics are exposed.
