International audiencePURPOSE: Systemic antifungal therapy (SAT) of invasive candidiasis needs to be initiated immediately upon clinical suspicion. Controversies exist about adequate time and potential harm of antifungal de-escalation (DE) in documented and suspected candidiasis in ICU patients.
