Recently it was found that commercial sodium taurocholate reversibly inhibited acetyl-choline (ACh) contractions of rat uterus, rat ileum and toad stomach muscle even when the muscle was depolarized by isotonic K2SO solu-tion (Laurence and Simmonds, 1963).
