This paper investigates the determinants of subjective job satisfaction in Sudan based on data collected in a private business firm. The analysis distinguishes between factors affecting the satisfaction of managers and regular employees. This is done under the assumption that the derivers of satisfaction for the two categories (managers and non-managers) are different. Logistic regression model was used to investigate the determinants of subjective job satisfaction for managers and non-managers separately. The results show that predictors of job satisfaction in developing countries are similar to those in developed countries with the exception of health condition.
