Tourism Trail in Lower Mekong Basin Economic Circle (Thailand-Laos-Cambodia-Vietnam)

The purpose of this article is to engage in a preliminary study on the promotion and development of tourism among Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam within the Lower Mekong Basin Economic Circle. The collaborative link has as its goal the connection of tourism in the provinces in the four countries that lie close to one another. This kind of multi-destination tourism connecting attractions in several countries must have greater appeal to prospective visitors than tourism in any one particular country. This is because each country has different attractions associated with its geographical topography and social and cultural conditions that together with those of other countries could serve as stronger incentives to tourism in this sub-region
