We present a case of brain stem epidermoid cyst, operated on twice. At first operation, the pus-like con-tent of the cyst, lead us to the erroneous diagnosis of abscess or tuberculoma, as had happened in two previously cases published. Due analysis and pathological examinations disclos-ed an epidermoid cyst, and a second operation was per-formed. The cyst was removed and the child recovered completely.
