TITLE The AIME Statewide Survey of School Library Media Centers: Expenditures & Collections.

This report is based on an Indiana statewide survey of school library media center collections, budgets, and services which was sponsored by the Association for Indiana Media Educators (AIME). Completed and usable surveys were received from 823 public and private school library media programs representing 44 % of the total possible school library programs in the state. Of these surveyed programs, 42 % are elementary, 32 % are junior high or middle school, and 26 % are senior high school. Information on three levels--baseline, comparative, and relationships--is presented through a series of questions so that practicing school library media specialists and school administrators can clearly identify data that can be applied to their local program.
