OBJECfIVE: To longitudinally evaluate unboundand total serum phenytoinconcentrations during intravenous phenytoinmaintenance dosage and to determinethe relationship among phenytoinprotein binding,serum albumin,and unboundfatty acid concentrations in patientswith head injuriesduring intensivecare unit (ICU) and convalescentcare.
