IntroductIon: CSF diversionary surgery still remains one of the most common procedures in surgical neurology. Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) diversion procedures remain the principal method of treatment of hydrocephalus. Commonly used procedures are Ventriculo-Peritoneal shunt, Endoscopic third ventriculostomy and External ventricular drainage.
