Although the direct mathematical solution may be obtained for systems of one or two degrees of freedom, the problem of the complete vehicle is best solved experimentally. The purpose of this thesis was to design and build a mechanical analogue for motor-vehicle vibration. It consists of a body and two unsprung masses.
