This study was designed to examine changes in level of actualizing among counselor trainees at the Master’s degree level as measured by the Personality Orientation Dimensions (POD), following the next-to-the-last course in Counseling and Student Personnel Services. Differences between pretest and posttest raw scores were significant for 4 of 13 POD scales. All changes were in the direction of hypothe-sized greater actualizing. It was concluded that the POD was sensi-tive to changes following the present counselor training program and that the changes suggest a greater adherence to actualizing concepts following such a program—an outcome that could be interpreted as reflecting some degree of support for its potential construct vali...
