The conventional approach for estimating in situ porosity is the ombined use of bulk density and neutron porosity logs. Borehole uclear measurements are influenced by fundamental petrophysical nd geometrical properties such as saturating fluids, matrix compo-ition, mud-filtrate invasion, and shoulder beds Ellis and Singer, 007.
