The unit covers approximately three weeks of instruction and strives to present volcanoes in an holistic form. (9) What role does persuasive speech play in communicating safety issues surrounding volcanic eruptions? (10) Why are people concerned about volcanic eruptions? (11) What effects do volcanoes have on the environment?
